Ingredients

Firework Chicken Burger Ingredients:

  • 1 Chicken Burger
  • 1 Potato bun
  • 1 Slice Pepperjack cheese
  • 1 oz. Spicy cheese puffs
  • 2 oz. Blueberry BBQ sauce

Blueberry BBQ Sauce Ingredients:

  • 2 cup Blueberries
  • 3 Tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Molasses
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Instructions

Firework Chicken Burger:

  • Cook chicken burger according to directions on packaging.
  • Add blueberry BBQ sauce to bottom bun and top with the chicken burger
  • Place pepperjack cheese on top of burger
  • Top cheese with spicy cheese puffs and finish with the top bun.
  • Serve with a star shaped cheese topper for a patriotic flare.

Blueberry BBQ Sauce:

  • Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  • Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until blueberries start to burst and sauce begins to thicken.
  • Stir the sauce until smooth
  • Cool BBQ sauce before using.
