dark soy sauce
Instructions
Heat bao buns according to package instructions.
Fry diced chicken at 350F for 3-4 minutes, until it's crisp on the outside and reaches an internal temp of 165°F.
In medium saucepan, combine oil, ginger, chili, honey, brown sugar, and dark soy sauce. Bring to simmer and reduce heat.
Add fried thigh meat to saucepan with glaze and stir until chicken is coated. Cook for 1-2 minutes to set glaze.
Fill prepared bao buns with glazed chicken. Top with desired garnishes, such as: cilantro, sliced chili, scallions, sesame seeds, or crushed peanuts.
