Ingredients
- 8 oz Chicken Breakfast Sausage Crumbles
- 2 Tbsp Minced chives
- 8 oz Refrigerated crescent rolls
- 4 Large eggs beaten
- 2 cups Swiss cheese shredded
- 1 cup Cottage cheese
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a skillet, cook sausage crumbles for 3-4 minutes, until heated and slightly browned. Cool slightly and add chives.
- On a lightly floured surface, unroll crescent dough in a long rectangle. Seal seams and perforations. Cut into 48 pieces and press into the bottom and up the sides of greased muffin cups.
- Fill each cup with about 2 teaspoons of sausage mixture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine eggs and cheese. Add about 2 teaspoons of egg mixture on top of sausage in each cup.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 5 minutes and remove from pans to wire racks.
