In the charter for the UCLA Sustainability Committee, sustainability is defined as: "The physical development and institutional operating practices that meet the needs of present users without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Sustainability presumes that resources are finite and should be used conservatively and wisely with a view to long-term priorities and consequences of the ways in which resources are used". In its simplest form, sustainable development meets the needs of the present without compromising the well-being of future generations.
Brakebush has always strived to be a leader in our industry, from new technology to exceeding customer expectations, and sustainability is no different. As a company, we have evaluated every aspect of our costs to maintain control over them. If there is a better, more efficient and less impactful way to do something we have made those changes and will continue to look at ways to improve.
