Jon Brakebush served as Vice President of Technical Services of Brakebush Brothers Inc. since February 2016. He was accountable for the Research & Development, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement functions. As of February 2023, Jon has moved into the new role as Senior Vice President of Operations and continues to oversee R&D, Microbiology, and Continuous improvements, in addition to all Brakebush production facilities.
He is involved in significant cross functional leadership activities working with operations, sales, and procurement, including developing relationships with key customers and regulators. Since joining the company in 1997, Jon has served as Vice President of Research and Development and as Manager of Research and Development. Prior to joining Brakebush Brothers, he held quality assurance and research and development positions within the food industry.
He is an active member on the company’s Executive Steering Committee and has served on the company’s Board of Directors since 2010. His board involvement includes serving as the Chair of the Board Nominating Committee and of the Board Governance Committee, and as a participating member on the Audit Committee. He was also a participating member of the Brakebush Family Foundation from 2018 to 2020.
Jon is a graduate of Purdue University and is a 3rd generation family member.
