Ingredients
- 1 lb. Chicken Breakfast Sausage Crumbles
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp. All purpose flour
- 2 cups Whole milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package Prepared biscuits
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add sausage crumbles. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until sausage is heated through.
- Add butter to pan. When completely melted, add flour and mix until well combined.
- Slowly stir in milk. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, until thickened to desired consistence.
- Season with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
- Serve on top of your favorite homemade or store-bought biscuits!
