Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Chicken Breakfast Sausage Crumbles
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
  • 3 Tbsp. All purpose flour
  • 2 cups Whole milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package Prepared biscuits

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add sausage crumbles. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until sausage is heated through.
  • Add butter to pan. When completely melted, add flour and mix until well combined.
  • Slowly stir in milk. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, until thickened to desired consistence.
  • Season with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
  • Serve on top of your favorite homemade or store-bought biscuits!
