Buttermilk Biscuit French Toast Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 Chicken Breakfast Sausage Pattie
  • 1 Buttermilk biscuit
  • ¼ cup French toast batter (see ingredients)
  • 1 tsp Bacon butter
  • ¼ tsp Cinnamon sugar
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 oz Maple syrup

French Toast Batter Ingredients:

  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Cook chicken sausage pattie per specifications.
  • Mix together French Toast Batter ingredients.
  • Cut the biscuit in half, dip it cut side down into the French Toast Batter, and sear over medium heat.
  • While the biscuit is cooking, brush the top half with bacon butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • Cook egg to desired doneness.
  • Assemble and serve with maple syrup on the side.
