Chicken Pierogi

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Diced Chicken
  • 1 cup Mashed potatoes prepared
  • ½ cup Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • cup Green onions sliced thinly, plus more for serving
  • 1 package Wonton wrappers
  • Sour cream for serving

Instructions

  • Cook chicken according to directions on packaging.
  • Heat mashed potatoes until warm.
  • Add chicken, mashed potatoes, cheese, and sour cream into a bowl together. Mix until well combined.
  • Add filling to middle to wonton wrapper. Brush the edges of wrapper with a little bit of water. Lightly press to seal. Boil in a pot of salted water (about 2-3 minutes) before draining. You’ll know they’re ready when they start to float.
  • Put boiled pierogi in oiled skillet over medium heat until lightly browned, about 2 minutes per side.
  • Serve with green onion and sour cream.
